As humans prepare to return to the Moon and travel onward to Mars, growing food in space will be essential for long-term survival. But deep space is a harsh environment. Filled with radiation and conditions very different from earth. To support future astronauts, we must understand how space travel affects the plants we rely on for food.
Joanne will explain the how, why, and up to date results of this ongoing amazing research study conducted in the Plant Research Lab at MSU.
